Cancer Incidence and Mortality Through 2020

In this video abstract, CDC epidemiologist Dr. Hannah Weir talks about her work to predict the number of new cancer cases and deaths to the year 2020. Cancer rates are decreasing or stabilizing, but the number of cancer cases and deaths will only continue to increase. Dr. Weir discusses why we still have work to do to prevent, screen and treat cancers. Results of this work have been previously published in both Preventing Chronic Disease and Cancer.
